You can change your CVR MLS account password by going to https://cvrmls.com/ and using the "Forgot Password" link found below the password field.

Be sure you are using your numeric CVR MLS account ID number and not email address or other identifiers as your Username.

You will be prompted to verify your access with an email. When you receive the email, use the link inside to complete validation. Be sure to check the email account you have on file with CVR MLS, if you do not see the email within 10 minutes in your inbox, please check the spam and/or promotions folder(s). If you do not see see the email after checking there, please contact CVR MLS technical support at 804-422-5004.

You will likely be prompted to verify using multi-factor authentication. The MFA code will be sent to the same email address or via SMS if you have a cell phone designated on your account. Be sure to use the code quickly. It is possible you may need to repeat this step when logging in with your new password for the first time.

We recommend using a secure password manager to save your account credentials. Please do not write them down or save them in an unsecured document. 

It is important to note that we do NOT require special characters (?, %, !, etc.) nor do we require capitalization or numerical characters. The policy requires a minimum number of characters (12) but it is recommended to exceed this to bolster account security. Using a series of words and spaces may help you create memorable and secure passwords. There are some common phrases/sequences as well as recycled passwords that will be blocked by policy.
