When searching for up-to-date rates for real estate taxes, use a search engine with terms such as "Henrico County real estate tax rate" and "Chesterfield County real estate tax dates."
Be sure:
- You are viewing the tax rates for real estate and not personal property (such as cars, boats, etc.)
- The website you are getting the information from is the county's. Other websites may not have up to date information.
- The information is for the current year. Sometimes county websites may not be up to date. If the information appears to be out of date, double check by calling the treasurer's office of that county.
