CVR MLS IDX Data Feed Instructions for Brokers, Agents, and Vendors

Agents & Brokers requesting service for an existing product or platform:

All IDX licensing is initiated by the vendor (data consumer) within the Cotality Trestle platform.
1) If a data consumer is currently licensed to use CVR MLS IDX data, they can generate a new agreement for you using the existing feed.
2) If the data consumer is not currently licensed, they can sign up for Trestle and initiate a new feed request. Instructions for this process can be found below.

When the feed is active and the data consumer has generated a new agreement request, it will be sent to the broker, then (optionally) the agent, and finally to CVR MLS for final review and signing. Signature requests use the Authentisign platform. When the agreement has been signed by all parties, all parties will be notified via email. When the agreement has been completed and the licensing active, the data consumer may begin service.

Please reach out to the data consumer for assistance with new agreements. Questions may be directed to [email protected]

If you are interested in a list of currently licensed vendors, please contact us at [email protected]

Brokers requesting a feed for firm listing data:

You can initiate a Trestle WebAPI feed that will contain the data of your firm’s listings. This comes at no expense from CVR MLS but may incur a Trestle support fee. You can follow the instructions provided for data consumers, but you will subscribe as a ‘Broker’ when you begin at Trestle.

Data Consumers (Vendors) requesting a CVR MLS IDX WebAPI feed:

You will need a Trestle Technology Provider/Data Consumer account to initiate a feed request. If you do not have one, you can subscribe at Trestle.

Detailed instructions on the subscription wizard can be found at Trestle for Multiple Listing Managers Release v3.pdf

You will have the following data feed options:

  1. Back Office for Technology Providers: IDX for back-end broker and agent products. Includes off-market and coming soon listings. Public display is not permitted.
  2. IDX Plus: Public facing IDX for agent and broker website solutions. Includes off-market data.
  3. Rentals: Public and back-end IDX feed for agent and broker products and websites. Includes off market data.
  4. Roster Only: Roster data for forms validation only. Requires existing forms approval and licensing.
  5. Sample Data Feed: Sample IDX feed to support product development.

If necessary, VOW feeds are available upon request. Please reach out to [email protected] to initiate the request.
