This video reviews the updated Matrix Dashboard.

 

 

Highlights include:

  • You can switch between the new and classic versions of the dashboard at any time using the classic mode toggle in the utility menu (top right corner). 
  • Widget layout can be customized freely to suit your workflow. 
  • Searches using the shorthand bar will produce results in the 3-panel view.
  • The timeline shows updated client and portal activity and can be customized using portal notification settings.

In this video I’ll explain how to navigate and customize the new version of the Matrix dashboard. This is an optional feature in Matrix, and you can swap between the new dashboard and the classic dashboard at any time by dropping the utility menu then clicking Classic Mode. The dashboard you choose will remain as your home page in Matrix each time you log in until you decide to change it.  

 

The dashboard layout is made of widgets that give you quick access to different features in Matrix. You can expand them, collapse them, or reorganize them by clicking and dragging them. To add or remove widgets click edit dashboard. Here you can toggle on or off widgets to build a layout that best suits your workflow. You can also reorganize the dashboard from this menu by changing the order of widgets in this list. Some widgets, like My Listings, allow you to customize what contents you’ll see on the dashboard by clicking the customize Icon then choosing which items will display from the list.  

 

While on the new dashboard, searching using the shorthand bar, or the quick search widget will display your results in the 3-panel view. This results display is another optional feature that you can change at any time by returning to the classic version of the dashboard. Searches made using the full search forms will produce results in the usual agent single line. 

 

Click the arrow to open the timeline. Here is where you can keep up with the One Home activity of your contacts that have created an account. To customize what updates are listed on the timeline, click Customize Timeline Settings and toggle on or off the updates you choose. You can also change these timeline settings using the portal notification section of the settings page.
