CVR MLS allows a property to be entered into multiple property types under certain circumstances:
Allowed:
- A property may be entered as a Rental and a For Sale listing.
- A new construction/to be built listing property may be entered as Single Family and Lot/Land.
When one of the listings goes under contract, the other listing must be Temp Withdrawn within five (5) days. Once the listing has Closed, the other listing must be placed in a Released status within (7) days.
Not Allowed:
- A property may not be entered simultaneously under the Commercial and Residential statuses.
- A property may not be entered as a Single Family and a Multi-Family listing.
- A property that is in a Temp Withdrawn status may not be re-entered until the original listing is Released or Expired.
Data Share Partners
While not expressly prohibited, CVR MLS strongly discourages listing agents from entering listings into CVR MLS and a data share partner. If the listing is entered into both systems, the listing agent must update the CVR instance listing in accordance with all CVR MLS rules and regulations.
