October 2026: What is Changing in the Matrix End User License Agreement (EULA)

On Wednesday, October 7th, the Matrix End User License Agreement (EULA) will be updated. You will be prompted to agree to the updated EULA upon logging in to Matrix.

The updated EULA language explicitly prohibits the use of AI agents against the Matrix interface.

Using AI against the Matrix user interface may result in degraded Matrix performance and, in extreme cases, could render the system unavailable. It may also lead to data licensing violations. Blocking mechanisms will be implemented to prevent these forms of restricted access.

Assistive technologies designed and used solely to facilitate access to the Matrix system for individuals with disabilities will continue to be permitted.

In addition, a reference to the Prospects/MLS Touch Privacy Policy has been added to the EULA.
